Dark Regiment Guild Charter - 12 June 2008

Mission Statement
Dark Regiment is a medium-sized guild (<=75 players) which was created to provide a home to mature players looking to enjoy a little domination in RvR in the upcoming Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) game Warhammer Online. The guild will play on the side of Destruction and accept any race. The Destruction races are the Greenskins (Goblins and Orcs), Chaos and the Dark Elves. The guild´s end-game goals will be primarily RvR/PvP oriented, but all the game´s offerings will be explored.

Membership Requirements

  1. A microphone and the ability to connect to the guild ventrilo server while playing in guild groups is mandatory. Guild members who do not meet this requirement are subject to immediate guild removal.
  2. The Dark Regiment player base will be made up of mature players. Players will typically fall into the post-college and above age category. Exceptions will be made. Players found to be lacking in maturity are subject to the Disciplinary Actions section of this charter.
  3. Regular play will be required to maintain guild membership. Members who do not maintain the standard of play and guild participation will be subject to immediate removal. The standard will initially be defined as four hours per week of playtime. This requirement will be actively enforced once a member becomes an obvious offender by reputation internal to the guild.

Organization

  1. The guild name, web site and other resources are owned and maintained by Rollins. Contributions to help with recurring costs are welcomed, but not required.
  2. The guild will be led by two members. All major guild decisions will be made by a consensus between these two leaders. The guild organizational chart will be posted on the main web site for public access.
  3. The guild will have a maximum of ten guild officers, excluding guild leaders. These members will have the authority to bring in new members to the guild for a trial period when the current guild membership is below maximum capacity. These officers can also be contacted to escalate other issues to the guild leadership if so required.
  4. All members, including officers, will have one main character. Alts will be allowed, but the main character will be the primary character of rank. The main character will automatically be the individual´s top-level character. Once an alt has met or surpassed the current primary character´s level, a new primary character can or will be assigned respectively.
  5. The primary character name will be used in the official guild roster.

Disciplinary Actions

  1. Unbecoming conduct will be subject to a warning from a guild leader or officer. If multiple warnings are received during a thirty day period, the warnings will be reviewed by the guild leadership. The offender will then receive either a verbal warning or guild removal. This will be decided by vote of majority of all three guild leaders.
  2. Any warnings given will be posted within the private officer´s forum for record along with a description of the offense and the warning given. The post´s date-stamp will be considered the official date of occurrence of any offense by the guild leadership.
  3. Unbecoming conduct includes but is not limited to:
    1. General immaturity
    2. Annoying others
    3. Begging (power leveling, items, cash, etc.)
    4. Cheating
    5. Hacking
    6. Any behavior that could give a poor portrayal of the guild as a whole

Miscellaneous
The maximum guild size will be limited to 75 members. A member is defined as an individual who connects to the ventrilo server. Special situations could arise which would cause this limit to be broken for short periods of time.
